Per-seat pricing comes from a time when software cost the same to run whether you used it every hour or once a month. Build it once, sell it a million times. Charging per login was a reasonable way to split that bill. Nobody was being taken.

They don't now.

Software that answers your phone, writes your estimates and texts your customers costs real money every time it does it. That cost follows the work, not the number of people with a login. A seat charge doesn't measure any of it. It just goes up when you hire.

What that costs a three-truck shop.

The cheapest Jobber plan that covers 3 users is Connect (5 users), at $149 a month billed annually. That's their list price as of October 11, 2026, read off their pricing page, and it may have changed since. You pay it in a slow February the same as in a busy June. How we picked that tier.
